MUMC VBS – Will be meeting here at MUMC all this week from 3pm-6pm! Join us for a fun filled spy mission as we share Christ with our church and community children. See Heather Wheeler for more information. ********************** MUMC Softball Game – Come out and cheer for the MUMC Softball team as they play this Tuesday, July 20th at 6:15pm. The game will be held at the fields next to C.G. Coleman Elementary. ********************** Mulch Needed – The Church Playground needs new mulch (playground mulch, please). If you could, or know someone that would, donate to us, please call the church office (540) 364-2506 as soon as possible. We would like for it to be on the playground by August 20 th in time for the preschool’s new school year to begin. The playground is used by all ministries of the church along with Scouts and outside visitors. ********************** MUMPS is now enrolling 3 & 4 year olds for this coming school year. They will be hosting their Open House on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 9:30am. If you are interested in the Preschool Program or know someone that is, please contact Donna Thomas at (540) 364-4111. ********************** Potluck Luncheon Rescheduled – The potluck that was originally scheduled for Sunday, July 18th has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 25th. Please remember to bring a white T-shirt for tie-dye! ********************** The Voices of Youth Awakening the Church Mission The 2010 Voices of Youth Choir of the Virginia Annual Conference will perform on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 7pm at First United Methodist Church, 308 North Braddock Street, Winchester, VA. There is no admission charge. An offering will be received in support of the choir’s expenses. ********************** Hosting the Calvary UMC Teen Missions – Your Help is Needed! The Missions and Evangelism committee are working together to greet the group on Saturday, July 24th around 5:30-6pm We will provide breakfast early Sunday morning and would love extra hands to help prepare food and see them off by 8am. Youth and Adult Missions is encouraged to come out and spend time with this group if possible. If you are not able to physically help, but would still like to be involved, we will need donations of breakfast items to serve Sunday morning. We ask for items like milk, juice, cereal, bagels, and eggs. If you are able to help, please speak with Terri Hill or email her at terrih57@msn.com. **********************
