Pastor John has been a licensed pastor since June 2019. In his first appointment, he was the associate pastor and the youth pastor at Dumfries UMC.              In 2020, PJ was appointed to the Linden/Markham/ Marshall Co-op.          He served the Co-op until July 2023, when he remained with Marshall UMC after they became a station church.

 

PJ finds joy in teaching and preaching and serving others as a pastor and a friend.    He is a second career pastor having been a master electrician previously. He began to hear a call to ministry in 2015 which eventually led him to graduate from Wesley Seminary in 2023 with a Master of Divinity.

 

PJ is married to Michelle; they celebrated their 25th anniversary in April 2024. Michelle is an integral part of his ministry. PJ and Michelle have two grown children (Katie, 25 and Jay, 22).

They are also pleased to announce that they became grandparents to Jackson Neill York on September 11, 2024.
